Microchips: R.Taylor, Straw Hat Stables
Tigger (Hannah) was previously owned by Pat Wolfe, and then Ginny Cowles. Either or both of those conscientious owners would have had her chip checked. She had a microchip number registered. But when I got her checked, in preparation for cross-country shipping, my vet could find no evidence of a chip - not by reader, or by x-ray. Who knows how, but the chip must have migrated up to skin level, and she shed it. She now has a new chip. Winnie (Daniella) has a chip, and the reader registered the presence of a chip, but the vet could not read it (the chip is, after all, 14 years old). What was that again about Murphy being a horseman?

Just by looking at the chip number I can tell it is one of the old ones. It can probably be read but it will need to be read by one of the old Destron scanners. The old Destron chips were a different frequency & needed a special reader for them.
