  Do you know why they are being mailed Standard (3rd) Class rather
  than Periodical (2nd) Class? That would assure more timely delivery
  as well as cheaper postage. I am sure that as a membership
  publication of the NFHR there would be little problem in qualifying.

That is being looked into right now Steve. I have applied for an ISSN for the Fjord Herald & after we get that we will apply for the periodical rate. The new mailing house we are using has a permit for the periodical rate. Not sure how long this will take but we are pursuing the possibility of mailing it 2nd class or periodical rate.
