I was just wondering whether anyone had any suggestions what to do to help
toughen up tender feet on a Fjord?

Question: When you have Donnie trimmed, does the farrier trim out a lot of
the sole of the foot? Often, leaving the old sole to shed naturally instead of
carving it out will protect the bottom of the foot.

Suggestion: For Donnie's pawing - try putting hobbles on his front feet when
you leave him standing tied. Works wonders!
