Too much sweat is like when I recently took Kilar to a pleasure drive.
It was a hot, humid autumn day and after a very easy, short drive he
came back sweating so profusely it looked like he had just been hosed.
He has since had a trace clip and is handling this hot-cold-hot weather
much better. My worries are that he will not cool sufficiently before I
have to trailer him home and that he will get a chill in the open stock
trailer we use. He gets long and wooly very early in the season.

I know this is probably stupid but I have never clipped a horse I just alter
the work load. What is " sweat to much "?? What is to much?? I always
thought sweating was a normal healthy function,
