This message is from: Nancy Hotovy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> As chairman of the Evaluation Committee, I appreciate your thoughts. We are having another meeting tonight and will be discussing some of the items you have mentioned, one of which is a list of Rules and Regulations as well as proposals to train evaluators and what we expect of them.
Actually the NFHR has put a lot of time and money into this evaluation process and it continues to grow each year. Volunteers for putting on an evaluation are what we are in short supply of. It is a tremendous amount of work. At this time, we are working on ways to make it easier on everyone involved. At this time there is an Offspring Award for stallions with 5 offspring or mares with 2 offspring qualifying for a Medallion of Quality. This award is noted on their pedigrees. Clinics, videos and education are of a prime concern to us also. Wayne Hipsley will be doing a clinic in Galena, Illinois the first weekend if February 1999. If anyone is interested, please contact me. If you have further questions and/or ideas, please let me know. Thanks.
