I give my big boy who tends to impact, a handful of Epson salts in his grain when I suspect he is nearing impaction. Would not want to give this if there are severe impactions, which these do not sound like. Altho the fjord is quite stoic. Some seem to have sensitive guts but this sounds too much like a pattern of impacting, with bute to relieve spasms and let the gut flow through. Jean
