Thanks for the response, which was informative. I know I shouldn't go here,
but after that response, it still leaves one wondering why all the "to do"
about teeth and testicles,... and ONLY teeth and testicles.

I can't answer this one for you. You are right these 2 things are important but they are not the only things that are.

Never say forever. One more question, Mike. If the two horses that were
knocked down for teeth already had certificates on file stating they were
ok, was the problem hereditary or was it possibly through feeding
management, or some "man-made" infliction, and how would anyone know the
difference?

I have no idea. I am the registrar not an Equine Dentist I am afraid I probably don't know any more about horses teeth that I do about my own which isn't very much.

Now don't take this the wrong way here anyone because I do think this is an important topic but if these teeth are so important maybe we should start gelding our human boys if they don't have straight teeth too? I am kidding it is a JOKE. I also have my legs crossed typing it! ;-)

In other words, was it a breeding problem or a management
problem? There's no facetiousness in that question, just real concern that
maybe two horses got knocked down for something that wasn't their fault.

Again I have no idea. I haven't the slightest idea how one would know that.

Mike
