We would like to announce the arrival of two new additions to our stable: Silly Willie Filly (we call her S'Willie) and Pepper from Knutsen Fjord Farms. Pepper (Pebermynt, I think) and Willie (Velhemine, again not sure of the spelling...the papers are in the house and my computer is out in my office), are progeny of our Susie (C-48) and half sisters. Pepper is a beautiful, well mannered 2 year old, and Willie is one of God's most beautiful creatures. Both are.....magnificent. I was going to buy JUST Willie, but Willie refused to travel alone. We got only a mile from Knutsen's when it became apparent that Willie was stressing out....badly. We reversed course to return Willie to Knutsen's and thought to ship her commercially. Willie had never been alone before. It played out like a plot had been hatched between my wife and Peg K. They swear it isn't so, but I sensed a vast left wing conspiracy. I'd been had. Must be like potato chips. You can't always buy (eat) JUST one. SO......we bought her buddy (and half sister), Pepper (and darn glad we did.....she is beautiful also....and BIG) and traveled home safely. They promptly made themselves right at home, investigating all the hills....having been raised on the flat. Up and down....round and round.... Such fun to watch.....beauty in motion.
