Yipee! Hi Taffy-This I can identify with because I did the very same thing last week with Loki & what a fantastic feeling it was. I had a driving lesson last month but managed to almost drive over a "coop" -one of my daughter's hunter fences-how embarassing plus I was so upset to almost wreck my new cart. Having learned a valuable lesson, I have cleared the ring except for some cones & we had a blast last week. My instructor wants me to try a driving dressage show in Oct in Culpepper, Va.......hmmm....lots of practice will be needed. At the moment I'm working with my mini who will team up with a friend & her mini to perform at a Victorian Carriage Festival next Sun. We're planning to do a little musical kur with a "tea" theme. Hope our costumes fit into the mini carts and our little beasts don't knock over our table set for tea. I also hope to come up with an theme/idea for next year's Victorian Day Festival & take Loki who has lots more "horsepower"! Guess fjords weren't in Ameria during the real Victorian Days....were they? Sandra in Va.
