that is so true. i miss seeing oz out my bedroom window, and he's boarded
about 40 miles away. i live with that, since i really want to continue to
ride,
and i can't do it in our pasture in the winter.

i still have charlie, our OLD QH, who has adopted gizmo, the mini we bought
from heike. those two became partners the day that giz arrived, and if one is
in the barn and the other outside, you should hear them call each other.

oz just got a room mate in his pasture at the boarding stable, another horse
who can't deal with a round bale. he seemed perfectly happy with him when i
was there the other night, as long as they both get fed separately. i have
asked
to get a stall if one comes available, because it's hard to find him in the
dark, and i am still not steady enough to go wandering through his pasture
without being able to see. i suppose i could just stand at the gate and wave a
carrot. i know he would hear that a mile away. with a stall, he also wouldn't
have to be put back out wet, which always worries me........jeeze, i sure seem
to
have a lot to say today.

laurie, and oz, who misses seeing me, too......well, maybe if i was dressed
as a hay bale
