Hi all, Erlend will be representing the Fjord breed at a "rare breeds" Expo this weekend. It will be held at the Skagit County Fairgrounds near Mt Vernon, WA. Mt Vernon is on the coast, South of Bellingham, North of Everett. The organizer has been amazed at the response, so strong from the West that she has had to add extra pens. We are delighted that she put His Majesty in stall #1, so that he will be the first horse folks see as they enter the Expo. Every breed gets to do a brief presentation - a chance to learn more about each one. We think people will have the usual delighted response to our breed. I am excited about being able to see the Gypsy Vanners, Ahkal Tekes, Fox Trotters, etc, etc, again. How do they keep the white feathering on those Vanners so sparkling clean? It defies understanding. Many excellent trainers will be doing clinics, training foals, packing, hoof care, horse rescue and rehab, and so on, And - there will be "war horse" challenges. Something for everyone! I hope that local WA Fjord fans will come and enjoy the show. Peg Peg Knutsen www.fairpoint.net/~kffjord/ www.horsehumor.net The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw
