Well....I can FINALLY write to you all and tell you ROKIDA'S NIKLAUS is standing at stud at FCF! Mike and Susie Sadlon of IN bought Nik and asked if I would stand him. Of course I said Yes, how could I not. He's a NEAT stallion, and although I sold Ole and NEVER in a million years EVER thought I'd have another stallion on the farm. (there is only ONE OLE in the world you know :-) I just could not say no to Susie, who VERY much wanted to own this boy and also to Nik, who really deserves a chance to have MANY more babies in the Fjord World. So, FCF is gonna continue on with offering stallion service. Rokida's Niklaus will be standing here at FCF. We also hope to take him to Blue Earth this year. Nik arrived yesterday, calm and confident and in great shape. Took a roll in the dirt and then tried to get the grass under the fence. You know, he does have priorities. Today I free lunged him in the arena , LOVELY lope on him, NICE smooth trot. He had a great time opening up and stretching his muscles, & kicking up a few heels. He's a super gentleman and I'm SOOO excited to have him. WHAT PRESENCE! He really is a STRIKING boy to look at, wow! Plus A+++ disposition. I've put a few pics on my website of him. I will get more of him working, but he's only been here 24hrs and we've been getting rain after rain after rain. All week it's suppose to rain, ughghg. Horses are all getting a bath -the natural way that is forsure. Any mare owners out there that are interested, email me privately and I'd love to tell you more about him. He has been evaluated in conformation, he's been used as a lesson horse, been shown at open shows and our breed show, done numberous drill team competitions, been in many demos, parades and fairs. GREAT representative of the breed. He rides western and huntseat and loves to jump. He also has been used in some multiple hitches, I have a picture of him as one of the lead horses in the 6 horse hitch at BE one year. VERY neat horse, outstanding disposition, wonderful bloodlines, VERY trainable and very nice conformation. I could go on and on, can you tell I'm excited!!!
