Just thought I"d throw out there to let everyone know, that I have a 15 yr old mare on consignment here at FCF. She has Anvil's Torbjorn, Orrjo, Froydis, Anvil's Edel as Grandparents. SUPER mare for anyone wishing to go out on a nice relaxing trail ride or drive. Alida happily goes out alone, or with other horses. She is near unflappable. Wild life, traffic, cows, sheep, what have you, she is unconcerned. She has that BIG Fjord walk, big trot and easy canter departure. VERY sure footed and steady. She also is a SWEET SWEET Mare. Very lovely and loves attention, great A+ manners. Any beginner can handle her, she too has that soft mouth, even though she is a drafty girl. Easy and uncomplicated to ride or drive. Was evaluated, rec'd 77.5%, she is almost 14.2hh lot of substance to her. I'll be making a video of her tomorrow, if anyone is interested email me privately. She is what most want in that nice family horse, easy, uncomplicated, tons of experience and very level headed. She is on my website if anyone wishes to see some pics of her. I'm located in East Central Wi. We have sold everything this year, Alida just came in this month and I would hope someone would JUMP at the chance to own her. She is at a perfect age, been well cared for and lovely disposition and training. FCF will be down in numbers over winter, but still keeping busy. I have a few to work over winter and have a few boarders so always something to do.
