Arnie has been driving my pair of Fjords over the winter to keep his hand in while his wonderful Haflinger was recovering from colic surgery...he and I both train with Amie Bauman and Amie had arranged for him to work with my pair. One of my pair is Ruth, Barni's dam and Arnie was especially fond of her. When Markeen had to be put down Arnie mentioned that he would be looking for another horse to compete with...while he was rubbing Ruth's face and telling me how much he liked her. Once I told him about Ruth's son training with Bob Giles and ready to show in prelim Arnie headed to Florida to check him out. Everyone who saw them work together agreed that it was a great match I am thrilled to have the first foal from my breeding program continue in competition but feel even better because he has gone to an owner who gives his horses a forever home. I feel strongly that it is important to get our Fjords out competing so that folks realize how versatile they are.
