Sorry, that should say "it only reads Vorbis comments".
libFLAC works only on native FLAC.  There is a separate
library libOggFLAC that wraps the libFLAC API.

A true Ogg API will need to be aware of the many codecs that
can be inside and this is I think where new development is
going.
