When I run it (OS X 10.6.2), find builds a list across multiple directories and
then runs metaflac, causing metaflac to report. "The FLAC file could not be
opened. Most likely the file does not exist or is not readable."
I would think this is the expected result as " {} + " is the same as -execdir,
except that ``{}'' is replaced with as many pathnames as possible for each
invocation of utility." and execdir caused metaflac tol be executed from the
directory that holds the current file."
The find option '-print' reports ALL my flac files:

./Traffic/Last Exit/Traffic - Last Exit - 06 Feeling Good.flac
./Traffic/Last Exit/Traffic - Last Exit - 07 Blind Man.flac
./Traffic/Welcome To The Canteen/Traffic - Welcome To The Canteen - 01
Medicated Goo.flac
./Traffic/Welcome To The Canteen/Traffic - Welcome To The Canteen - 02 Sad and
Deep as You.flac
..............
Then when metaflac is run:

Anyway, you answered my original question, and "metaflac --add-replay-gain" is
the way to go (not flac -f --replay-gain as I had thought). I just ran this
though a script that recurses through directories and runs metaflac for flac
files in each directory (which is on an album basis in my file structure).
