Hi, we are using a redirected local storage solution, ie our desktops are stored on a local network drive and backed up whe we shut down. The location of the Flash Player > Shared Objects directory lies on this. Ive developed a site that records save states based on a users name, and it works fine in Flash 7 player, but the 8 player wont write the SOL files, I've been reading this http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/flash/articles/fplayer8_security.html but cant seem to find anything about this as its quiet specific. Does anyone know why this is happening, and or a way around this, so that for the time being, I can write these files just for dev purposes. The SOL's write perfect in FP8 from home.
