I believe that when I looked into the wmode attribute for embedding the
flash movie it was something that only worked right in IE. Others may
have more experience, but that was the issue I ran into when I tried to
do it.

Gregory, I'm on a Mac and have tried to do just what you're trying. 
I've had no luck with it on the Mac at all.  Had the same results in the
other browsers as well.

We never found a way to get it to work.  Sorry!
