anyone know how to display a unicode (japanese characters) string that has been escaped via JavaScript and sent into the SWF via SetVariable? unescape() works just dandy for the English text, but the JP text just comes out as "�92ª�1A¹�9202C6�" (boxes, garbage). I could swear I've done this before long ago but can't find the trick.
