Hello, I would try a few things to resolve the problem, grab yourself a copy of cocktail http://tinyurl.com/dbksn use this to repair you permissions as this might help.
If not try using another application that will remove all related files for flash the app can be found here http://appzapper.com/ just drag and drop the flash app icon onto appzapper and it will do the rest.
