Beware that one of the methods (GET or POST) has a server dependent limit on the size of message that can be sent. It is very small usually. (2000 character range) Flash supports both methods except when you are testing. Then it only supports the wrong one. Read getURL docs for more information. Read them very carefully, including the fine print.
