If you use HTML text, you can use "<a href='asfunction:..." etc. to create hyperlinks that call an asfunction defined elsewhere, including one argument being passed (actually you can have multiple arguments but must use some delimiting character to split them apart). This might be easier than calculating cursor position relative to string locations. You can also use CSS to format how the asfunction links appear on Up, Over, and Down.
