3gp is a bit less than mp3 in size
"Cingular's data transfer rate in my area is" - that says it all really
data cost everywhere,every provider, every plan is different, charges in
Europe probably average at $3-4 per mb, which means you're looking at
$12 each streamed 3gp file :)

Cingular's data transfer rate in my area is $0.0080/KB after 5MB. How
many bytes do you think a MP3 file transcoded to 3gp would be?

transcode to 3gp and then do rtsp direct to flash lite
but really rtsp isn't that valid an option unless you are working
with an operator, if you arent working with an operator in some form
then users will have connection issues with rtsp and they will get
massive data bills too!
