Yes the movie is definately larger than the video object the camera is
being loaded into. Very odd indeed :)

i had a problem that sounded similar to this. I kept getting a blank
screen, no camera image and no "Allow/Deny" dialog. Are your movie
dimensions large enough to accommodate the dialog size? Try the movie at
300px x 300px.

Hello, I have this code on the first frame of a blank movie. For some
reason it always autmatically denies access to the camera without even
popping up the standard "Allow"/"Deny" dialog. Any help would be
greatly appreciated! thanks!
function allowCamera() {
var my_camera:Camera = Camera.get();
my_video.attachVideo(my_camera);
my_camera.onStatus = function(infoObj:Object) {
switch (infoObj.code) {
case 'Camera.Muted' :
trace("Camera access denied");
break;
case 'Camera.Unmuted' :
trace("Camera access granted");
break;
}
};
}
allowCamera();
