On this note, all as3 developers would be remiss not to read 'JavaScript: the 
good parts' for some of the modern JavaScript coding techniques born of 
necessity that will improve your understanding of ActionScript's possibilities 
and likely improve your practices. Side effect could be  a more tolerable 
browser scripting experience.
