Hi list,

I have encountered a bizarre problem with the .as files in one of my
projects.
The problem is that when I make any updations to the class file and
compile, it is not getting reflected in the project and moreover even
when I comment all the scripts in that class file, it compiles perfectly
and publishes and all the commented script works!!!. Any idea why this could happen?

Use this extension to clear ASO cache:

I guess I could have mentioned how I deleted them manually if that helps. Open the folder C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en\Configuration\Classes\aso and look for the classes you created. Just delete them from here and republish your Flash app. New aso files will be created. Every time you make a change to the class you need to delete the aso. Stupid, I know. I'm looking forward to trying that extension Michael mentions.

Cheers,
JOR
