I'm afraid they dont validate the Flash player.... There is no code in that page (client side) to do this.... I think it's a fix message !

This is AFTER it checked my player, so I should have went right to the

I'm not complaining about Macromedia or the plug-in, just the state of
affairs in general.

Overall, the express player install to upgrade from 7 to 8 works
pretty well. A little convoluted, going to Macromedia to confirm the
update then popping back open a browser with the original destination,
but it does seem to work pretty well.
