Are your sure wether the
mc.loadMovie("file://c:\test.swf")
targets YOUR local drive or the SERVER local drive?

I've problem with loading swf from local path to swf on net.
Example:
you can swf on net somewhere and code inside is:
mc = this.createEmptyMovieClip("content",100)
mc.loadMovie("file://c:\test.swf")
on local there si test.swf with code:
System.security.allowDomain("*")
This wirks in Flash7, but not in Flash 8. I was searching bit, and
find such things:

i allow localhost, but it doesnt helps..
And I need to work this with manual allowing localhost (It's kiosk
system, players can not set security settings for Flash player)
Does anyone have working solution for this?
