Marc, I'd suggest you to use XML instead of text files regardless of
 how many line there are. Advantages:
 1) scalability
 2) your client can use visual editors (XMLSpy etc). You know, some of
 my clients tried to edit txt files in MS Word...
 3) The information structure is clear to you and as well to your
 client.

 Since Flash 5 I try to use XML files whenever possible :-).
