Previously I recalled coming across a blog which talks about using a different approach in randomizing the location of items (e.g. movieclips). This approach uses angular (radian) instead of the conventional x and y. However, I cannot recall which blog, it would be great if someone could refer me to the url.
I don't know the blog you're talking about, but it sounds pretty straightforward to me. What's the context? What are you trying to achieve?
