Well the good news is that you're right that the file size doesn't matter
then.

The bad news is that it sounds like you have a case of "frame one
bottleneck"
and this may be a bit tough depending on how your application is structured
and how experienced you are.

The things you're going to need to focus on are component initialization
order, the order of loading and the order of events.

The best thread that I've seen on doing this is in the Arp mailing
list.(find it from ariaware.com) Because arp uses forms and because forms
have to deal with this the folk there have about as much expertise on this
as anybody. There was a fellow on there mentioning setting up
localconnections as the chanell for events between movieclips that sounded
like a nice approach.

I would register there and then read it's reference info and archives very
closely. see where you can follow the arp way of doing things and see if
that helps with this. It shouldn't be too difficult to figure it out
eventually, but it sounds like you probably dont really have quite as much
time as you need.
