What else do you need from us to decide if this is a worthy investment? Some of the developers on this list could perhaps build a viable solution for you but in the end it has to be the Flash Player team that makes any sort of commitment. Maybe in a seperate forum some of the more experienced developers (I'm not one of them) could help advise/consult on more in-depth technicalities.
