Do you still have Flash 7 installed? Sometimes on my laptop the lowest
version installed gets used when run locally.

- Loader component works in Flash 8 IDE.
- Loader component works loading Flash 8 SWF in Flash 7 Player.
- Loader component works in Flash 8 projector (EXE).
- Loader component does not work in Flash 8.
If you've ever run a Loader component in Flash 6 or 5, it'll do the same
thing; it'll show the black box with green outline; this basically means
the
component doesn't work in the version of Flash you are playing in.
What I don't get is why the hell is it doing this in 8? I thought it was
local file security, but choosing both, remote and local, as well as for
the
SWF it's loading, does squat.
LoadMovie works just fine. Anyone know what the heck is wrong with the
Loader component when used in a Flash 8 SWF running in the Flash
Player.exe?
