Hi Abdul We have provisions to surpress print Dialog box in VB, .NET and many other language, tools. All are used to built rich internet applications. Don't you feel they are flash competitors and equally used in market for building good products.
If these people can provide such capabilities, I'ld like to request such feature in flash too. And if we are discussing this in open , I'ld also request to have options in standalone flash itself to perform FSO as well as database connectivity operations. I have been using flash from past many years and been a fan of this. I have seen that flash can used in challenging application but we lack at every last mile for some or other reason explained as security issue. Why don't microsft limit this access to their tools . Are they less worried about their end users? To avoid this, user need to select a printer and know what is about to happen after this action.. -abdul -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of rishi Sent: Friday, January 13, 2006 3:44 PM To: Flashcoders mailing list Subject: [Flashcoders] Hiding Print Dialog Box Hi I need to carry out print operations from flash while hiding the print dialog box from user . is there some way where I can pass my print data to a selected installed printer on a machine.
