I've been Googling for a statement about this that I am comfortable with. I am wondering if the externalInterface is an IDE thing or player specific thing. If a user has Flash Player 7 installed does that mean no use of the externalInterface and if so how are people dealing with this? Are you guys waiting for a greater penetration of the Flash8 player?
