Hello, I recently built a Flash movie that consumes XML data from a PHP script and builds a screen of logos that are clickable. The click URL is included in the XML that I'm consuming.
When I launched the file into live mode, it was on an HTTP-only website. Since then, the site has moved to an HTTPS-only site. It broke immediately, and I knew why, as I've dealt with those issues before. I fixed the issues and got the XML data to come in again, and the logos load just fine, except now I can't click the logos to visit the URL associated with the logo. I trace the URL and see that it's definitely getting the XML data and setting up the "hit area" movieclip just fine....but no clicky clicky! ( I don't even get a hand cursor....IE and Firefox don't recognize that there's a clickable link there... ) This seems quite bizarre to me, and I can't figure out what could possibly be going on. Anyone else ever deal with something like this? I'm just fishing for anything; this seems almost too obscure to have previously existed in the wild. :) The wild jungles known as the Flash Player. ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated.
