Man, I feel like a broken record. :-) Didn't this just come up
recently.
Anyway, I suggest that you try Xray: http://osflash.org/xray as it has
this
ability (Xray.trace(myObject);) and tons more.  It will indeed save you
time
in debugging your Flash application.
