That doesn't do anything. If a movieclip is empty, there is nothing to play.

Looking at converting someone elses AS1 code to AS2, and there's a practise of: createEmptyMovieClip('ex',1); ex.stop(); which is noted to save cpu usage. Is this a relevant optimisation for FP8? _______________________________________________ [email protected] To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com _______________________________________________ [email protected] To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com
