Not a high priority query but maybe someone knows the answer:
On Mac OS 10.4, Flash 8 SharedObject files are stored in UserName/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/XXXX/localhost where XXXX represents a variously named folder. Example of folder XXXX's name are BBYLXPK3 and UTGQ8P8M. If I delete the folder Flash very kindly creates another one the next time it writes to a SharedObject BUT with a new name. The question is ... why the different name everytime? And what information does the name contain (if any)?
