but was the swLiveConnect var not pnly for the old
netscape? I know it's no longer needed with FireFox -
pretty much because I just tested it and it worked! I
didn't have 'swLiveConnect' and it's all fine!, but I
apply the 'fix' and it doesn't!
I think swLiveConnect was old skool compatibility (ns
6) but it's all sorted now.
In any case, I can do j/s -> flash com without it in
FF, when using EMBED, but soon as I use the IE 'fix'
it's all over.

I'll take a look at yours, but I'm still interested in
making this work...
