Hi Marcelo,

You could try loading the text as HTML-text in flash.
Then in cakePHP before you outpur your text use:

$output = htmlspecialchars(htmlentities($output));

Now all chars that are not in the 32-127 (ascii) range will be changed to
something like ë for ë
