As long as the grid itself and the columns within are set to editable, the grid through the IDE or programmatically and the columns programmatically, you should not have any problems accessing a field within...I'd have to look at the code...

Ok if I create a datagrid and assign a dataprovider, all the datagrid components are fields, but only the first colun is editable -- I've tried doing dg.getColumnAt(2).editable = true both before and after the dataProvider set, but it's always just the first column that remains editable... what is it I'm missing? _______________________________________________ Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com _______________________________________________ Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com
