Sorry Jord, but I'll need a bit more info on how to do that. Suppose the
following code:

var _conn:Connection = new Connection();
_conn.onStatus = function(status_obj) {
        trace("Something wrong has happened");
        trace(status_obj.description);
}
_conn.connect(gatewayURL_str);

How would you do  what you suggested,
