Hi; I am converting a 8khz 8bit mono wav into a 128 vbr bitrate mp3 using lame. When played within flash it is accelarated, sounding a lot like alvin and the chipmunks. Is there a minimum for the sampling and bit rates for mp3s to be played in flash? We care most about size but need reasonable playback without distortion.
