You can't do it with flash alone. You will need some sort of other install on the user's computer. You can either build your own, or look into something like MDM's Zinc (or mProjector, or the many other 'swf2exe' type apps). Some of them support Mac, but not all.

It needs to be able to detect active USB connections and do basic serial communications over USB or a serial port.
