No - the field's not masked; turns out I have to import all the states ie bold, italic, etc, for some reason.
But the bigger thing is this: I know I've seen examples of flash being used as word processors - ie ways of setting formatting on text. If I've got that, how can I save that info to be loaded in again? I can't dump it into a CDATA because Flash doesn't load in the information properly (ie it changes html brackets to & equiv).
