Umm... because? If it's a session it's static to the page, so you only have to write it once. ie. The simple way would seem to work best in this case.

If you're looking at Ajax style XML-RPC and want the information post page load get it from Javascript:
http://weblogs.macromedia.com/flashjavascript/

Personally, I'd push the session into Flash then use AMF to get anything else the client needs base on that session id.

Probably barking up the wrong tree. I can't see why you'd want to read the response header from Flash but the short answer is it can't be done without some external helper.
