i have or had a similar problem.
I checked this with FlashPlayer Plugin 7, 8 and 9 on different
browsers and the problem occured only with FlashPlayer 7 Plugin. Can
you approve this for your problem, too?
The project went further and we added more and more layers and we
switched from PNG to GIF for part of the pictures (for size reason,
really!). And then the problem of invisible areas or strange masking
effects was not so obvious for the user, so we leaved it that way,
now. But I definitly had such a problem, too, as I tried to describe
to you here.
If you find a solution, let me know.

Best Regards,
Matthias

2006/8/22, Ryan Luce <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
I'm loading several transparent pngs in swfs(flash 7), on top of each
other same xy, using moviecliploader. What seems to happen is i have
image1, image2, and image3 all loading, using the same
moviecliploader, then i reload image2 and image3 and for some reason a
big box of invisibilty comes over all images, making 2/3rds of the all
the images transparent.
Anyone have this problem?
Thanks
Ryan.
