this is the only thing that seems to bring it back to life:
if(targetMC instanceof MovieClip == false) targetMC.__proto__ = new
MovieClip();
before calling MCL.loadClip(), the target is a bonified MovieClip, but as
soon as progress starts, it's not anymore.
