Hi EKA, Too easy. For this application I'm using the v2 text area component. "condenseWhite" is not listed as a property. I realized that the text area component doesn't inherit properties from the flash text field.
myTextArea.label.condenseWhite=true works fine though. Thanks for the tip! It's a bit strange that the default value for this property changes depending on the version of the swf file.
